- Guidance from Khaldun scholars to support the application process.
- Mentorship to help excel in academic and professional careers.
Scholar commitments
- Remain active as peer advisors in the Khaldun Scholars Network.
- Participate in at least one winter or summer program recommended by Khaldun.
- Once financially able, give back to Khaldun an amount at least equal to the scholarship received in order to support new scholars.
We looked for
- Outstanding candidates, academically and professionally.
- Candidates with demonstrated success in serving their communities.
Deadline
Applications were considered on a rolling basis. Final deadline: September 25, 2017.
Applications used a decolonial approach — candidates could apply in English or their local language (such as Bangla).
